Sydney Culbertson Named Little
East Conference Women’s Lacrosse
Defensive Player of the Week

Providence, RI—Rhode
Island College sophomore goalkeeper Sydney Culbertson (North
Kingstown, RI) was
named the Little East Conference Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of
the Week. |
|
|
|
Culbertson has played in four
games between the pipes for the Anchorwomen this season, starting all
of them. She is 1-3 with a 14.50 goals against average and 47 saves.
She made 13 saves in RIC’s, 14-8, win over Nichols on Mar. 22. |
|
|
|
Head Coach Ryan Angel’s
team is 1-3. In upcoming action, RIC will host Elms on Tuesday, Mar.
28, Roger Williams on Thursday, Mar. 30, and play at Bridgewater State
on Saturday, Apr. 1. |
