The fifth-seeded Anchorwomen will travel to fourth-seeded Brandeis on Wednesday, Nov. 8, setting up a rematch with former Head Women’s Soccer Coach Ryan Angel, who left RIC this past summer to take an assistant coach’s position with the Judges.

The seeds are as follows: 1. Smith, 2. Springfield, 3. Keene State, 4. Brandeis, 5. Rhode Island College, 6. Bridgewater State, 7. Fitchburg State, 8. St. Joseph’s (ME).

Rhode Island College Head Women’s Soccer Coach Denis Chartier led the Anchorwomen to a 14-7 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Little East Conference this season. RIC established new program record for the most wins (14) in a season and consecutive wins (nine). The Anchorwomen downed Southern Maine (4-1) in opening round action of the 2006 Little East Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament on Oct. 31, before falling to top-seeded and eventual champion Western Connecticut (4-0) on Nov. 3.
