Rebocho & Kern Help RIC Menís Golf to
Second Place Finish at Alliance Championships


Providence, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís golf team placed second at the first-ever GNAC-Alliance Menís Golf Championship played at Triggs Memorial Golf Course on Friday afternoon.


Senior Shawn Rebocho (Albion, RI) finished two strokes off the lead to place third with a score of 77. Freshman Barrett Kern (Pawtucket, RI) tied for fourth with a score of 78.


Senior Sean DeSilva (West Warwick, RI) tied for seventh at 79. Sophomore R.J. Tassoni (Greenville, RI) tied for 14th with a score of 83, while junior Derrick Garforth (Tiverton, RI) tied for 20th at 89.


In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Becker tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
