Rhode Island College Ranked 25th
in National Poll


Providence, RIóThe Rhode Island College menís basketball team is ranked No. 25 in the latest edition of the Top 25 national poll. The Anchormen have received at least one vote in the past 20 national listings, including No. 24 ranking in the Nov. 26 poll.




The national poll is voted on weekly by a 25-person panel consisting of coaches, sports information directors, and media members.


Head Coach Bob Walsh has led the Anchormen to a 7-1 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the Little East Conference. The Anchormen are coming off an impressive, 96-91, overtime win at then-ranked No. 16 Keene State on Dec. 8.


In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play at Trinity tonight at 7:30 p.m., then close out the fall semester at Springfield on Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.
