Thirteen Rhode Island College
Student-Athletes Named to Little East Conference Spring All-Academic
Team
|
Providence, RI—The
Little East Conference office recently announced the honorees for
the Spring All-Academic teams for the 2010 season and 13 Rhode
Island College student-athletes were selected. |
|
Student-athletes earned recognition on the
all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a
sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative
grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored
student-athletes in the following sports:
baseball, men’s and women’s lacrosse,
softball, men’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and
field. |

The following student-athletes were
recognized: |

BASEBALL:
Sophomore Kyle Allaire (Uxbridge, MA) and junior Matt
Thadeio (West Greenwich, RI). |
|
WOMEN’S LACROSSE:
Junior Suany Almonte (Warwick, RI). |
|
SOFTBALL:
Junior Amanda Berard (Swansea, MA) and senior Jenna
Deveines (Lowville, NY). |
|
MEN’S TENNIS:
Sophomore Jason Morin (East Providence, RI), junior Nate
Rebello (Pawtucket, RI) and junior Mike Ricci (Cranston, RI). |

MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD:
Junior Chris Allegretta (Warwick, RI). |
|
WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD:
Senior Stephanie Bucci (Smithfield, RI), junior Katie
Desrosiers (Warwick, RI), junior Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield,
RI) and sophomore Brittany Richer (Woonsocket, RI). |
