The Anchorwomen (6-2) stop a mini two-game losing streak with the win as they outshot their hosts, 34-8. Freshman goalkeeper Abygayle Fisher (Exeter, NH) made four saves as she earned her first collegiate win (1-0). The Terriers (1-7), who stopped a six-game slide with a win in their last game, drop back into the loss column.

The first half was a defensive struggle until the 45th minute when Graham put RIC on top with her third goal of the year on a pass by freshman midfielder Melanie Goes (East Providence, RI).

RIC quickly put the game out of reach in the second half, erupting for four goals in a 12:19 span starting in the 58th minute. Graham set up junior striker Ashley Choiniere (Hope, RI) for what proved to be the game-winner, then assisted on Smith’s goal just over five minutes later.
