After scoring one run in the first inning, a three-run third frame helped the Anchorwomen put away game one as senior catcher Kayla Jandreau (Plainville, CT) notched an RBI double, Perry stole home and senior designated player Laura DeNoncour (Johnston, RI) singled in another run.

The Anchorwomen plated four in the top of the seventh as Perry doubled in a pair, Bailey singled in a run and freshman pinch hitter Maria Darling (Ansonia, CT) knocked in another with a pinch hit RBI single.

Johnson allowed just one hit and struck out two in four innings of work. Berard breezed through the final three frames, allowing just two hits to go along with three strikeouts to sew up the win.

In game two, RIC once again took a 1-0 lead in the first as Jandreau singled and later manufactured a run after a sacrifice bunt. RIC plated three in the third, paced by an RBI single by sophomore second baseman Marisa Jandreau (Plainville, CT) and an RBI ground out by Perry.

Puccini allowed a mere four hits in four shutout innings of work before giving away to Berard. Berard allowed one run on three hits over the final three frames.
