RIC Tracks Competes at ECAC Championships
Amado Earns Two All-ECAC Honors

Bethlehem, Penn.-The Rhode Island College men's and women's track and field teams took part in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships, hosted by Moravian on May 19-20. The Anchormen tied for 35th place (58 teams) with a score of 6.0, while the Anchorwomen did not score as a team.


Freshman Craig Amado (Providence, RI) earned two All-ECAC honors, placing fifth in the 400m (48.98) and seventh in the triple jump (13.71).

Sophomore George N'Tow (Providence, RI) placed ninth in the 400m (49.60). The 4x400m relay team comprised of N'Tow, sophomore Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI), sophomore Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) and Amado placed 17th (3:22.20).


On the women's side, senior Katie Desrosiers (Warwick, RI) placed 23rd in the 5,000m (18:39.92) and classmate Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, RI) placed 11th in the 400m hurdles (1:04.97).
