Fourteen Rhode Island College
Student-Athletes Named to Little East Conference Spring All-Academic
Team
|
|
Providence, RI—The
Little East Conference office recently announced the honorees for
the Spring All-Academic teams for the 2011 season and 14 Rhode
Island College student-athletes were selected. |
|
|
|
Student-athletes earned recognition on the
all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a
sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative
grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored
student-athletes in the following sports:
baseball, women’s lacrosse, softball,
men’s tennis and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field |

BASEBALL:
Junior Kyle Allaire (Uxbridge, MA). |

|
WOMEN’S LACROSSE:
Senior Suany Almonte (Warwick, RI), junior Hilary Switzer
(Woonsocket, RI), senior Christina Tavana (Middletown, CT). |

|
SOFTBALL:
Senior Amanda Berard (Swansea, MA), senior Laura DeNoncour
(Johnston, RI), sophomore Marisa Jandreau (Plainville, CT). |

MEN’S TENNIS:
Sophomore Nate Lee (Bar Harbor, ME), junior Jason Morin
(East Providence, RI) and senior Nate Rebello (Pawtucket, RI). |
