Twelve Rhode Island College
Student-Athletes Named to Little East Conference Spring All-Academic
Team
|
|
Providence, RI—The
Little East Conference office recently announced the honorees for
the Spring All-Academic teams for the 2011-12 season and 12 Rhode
Island College student-athletes were selected. |
|
|
|
Student-athletes earned recognition on the
all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a
sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative
grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored
student-athletes in the following sports: baseball, women’s
lacrosse, softball, men’s tennis, men’s and women’s outdoor track
and field.

BASEBALL:
Senior Kyle Allaire (Uxbridge, MA), senior
Dan Hopkins (Cranston, RI). |

WOMEN’S LACROSSE:
Sophomore Taryn Carbone (Cranston, RI), sophomore Sophie
Kanno (Cranston, RI), sophomore Sam Nolte (Cranston, RI),
sophomore Ashley Signoriello (Cranston, RI). |

SOFTBALL:
Junior Marisa Jandreau (Plainville, CT), sophomore Stacy
Pokora (Wilton, CT). |

MEN’S TENNIS:
Senior Jason Morin (East Providence, RI). |

MEN’S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD:
Sophomore Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI), junior Conor
