Providence, RI—Rhode Island College has named Devin Kitterick as the assistant women’s tennis coach. He assists Head Coach Adam Spring with all facets of the RIC women’s tennis program including recruiting, scouting, administering practice and meet coaching.

“Over the past seven years, I've either played for or coached with Adam,” Kitterick said. “I am excited to bring our love and knowledge for tennis over to Rhode Island College's athletic department. We have a great group of young women and look forward to representing RIC well in the Little East Conference.”

Kitterick spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with Spring at Johnson & Wales. “I have known Devin as his coach and now as a colleague,” Spring said. “He brings a wealth of tennis skill and knowledge to our RIC women's team and I'm excited to work with him again this season.”

He began his tennis career playing four seasons as a varsity starter at Bridgewater-Raynham High School before attending Johnson & Wales. As a Wildcat, Kitterick started for four campaigns, completing his career at No. 1 singles and doubles. He was twice named All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference and was part of JWU’s 2008 GNAC Championship Team.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Johnson & Wales in 2010. He also earned his MBA in global business leadership and financial services from JWU in 2012.

Kitterick resides in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
