LAUREN DEGUIRE LEADS RIC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AT UMASS DARTMOUTH

Dartmouth, Mass.-Rhode Island College junior Lauren Deguire (Blackstone, MA) finished in 157th (315 runners) with a time of 21:22.06 to lead the Anchorwomen at the 2015 UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday morning.

 

The Anchorwomen finished 34th (42 teams) with a score of 978. Brandeis won the meet with a score of 49.

 

Freshman Veronica Northup (Hope, RI) finished 205th in a time of 22:20.98. Freshman Lauren Paiva (Coventry, RI) finished 227th with a time of 22:50.05.

Junior Allison Lomas (Saunderstown, RI) finished 238th with a time of 23:05.48. Sophomore Ashley Bricault (Cumberland, RI) finishd 261st with a time of 23:59.78.

 

Junior Abigail Dandurand (Hope Valley, RI) finished 280th with a time of 25:18.65. Junior Jessica Trautman (Narragansett, RI) finished 297th with a time of 27:28.22.

 

 In the sub-varsity race, sophomore Tess Rhoat (Wakefield, RI) placed 262nd (28:18.66). Freshman Heather Kolaski (Barrington, RI) finished 268th (28:53.37). Freshman Maggie Buckley (Norwich, CT) finished 275th (32:15.13)

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon on Saturday, Sept. 26 (11:30 a.m.).
