OSBORN & DIBIASE COMPETE AT
2016 NCGA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Brockport, N.Y.--Rhode Island College sophomore Courtney Osborn (Pomfret, CT) and freshman Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown, RI) finished 13th and 14th, respectively, in the all-around at the 2016 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championships, hosted by Brockport on Friday evening.

 

The duo qualified in the all-around from the East Region and took part, along with 12 other qualifiers, during the team competition on Friday evening. Individual specialists will compete on Saturday afternoon.

 

Osborn posted scores of 9.500 on vault, 9.125 on bars, 8.600 on beam and 9.300 on floor to post a total score of 36.525. Her score on vault equaled a season-high and she registered a new season-high on bars.

DiBiase posted scores of 9.275 on vault, 8.375 on bars, 9.150 on beam and 9.650 on floor to register a score of 36.450. Her scores on floor and in the all-around were season-highs.

Head Coach Bob Nannig's team closed out the 2016 season with a sixth place finish at the NCGA East Regional on March 6. The Anchorwomen (1-5) posted a team score of 181.075, which was the highest point total for the program in 11 years.
