RIC COMPLETES DAY ONE AT GEORGE PHINNEY
GOLF CLASSIC

Middlebury, Vt.-The Rhode Island College women’s golf squad is currently in 14th place after the first round of the George Phinney Golf Classic, hosted by Middlebury at the Ralph Myre Golf Course on Saturday.  The Anchorwomen shot a (436), while Williams sits in first place with a (315).

 

RIC was paced by freshman Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) who is currently tied for 56th place (95), while fellow rookie Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) is tied for 74th (107). Freshman Kelsey Hiler (Pascoag, RI) carded a (110) and is sitting in a tie for 77th and sophomore Mia Pavao (Tyngsboro, MA) is in 84th (124) for the Anchorwomen.

In upcoming action, the Anchorwomen will play in the second round of the George Phinney Classic at Middlebury on Sunday, Oct. 9 (9 a.m.).
