Warwick, R.I.--The Rhode Island College women’s golf team captured the 2017 RIC Invitational played at Valley Country Club on Saturday afternoon.  The Anchorwomen shot a 423 at the three-team event. Johnson & Wales took second place (433), while Westfield State was third (444). Westfield State sophomore Bailey Loughlin (Maynard, MA) took home medalist honors with a 94.




Freshman Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) led the way for RIC and finished in third place (99), while freshman Demi Dischert (Bristol, RI) was in fifth place (105). Freshman Kelsey Hiler (Pascoag, RI) carded a 108 and finished tied for sixth, while fellow rookie Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) finished in ninth place (111) for the Anchorwomen.
