ANCHORWOMEN FINISH THIRD
AT WESTFIELD STATE TRI

Westfield, Mass.—The Rhode Island College women’s golf team notched a third place finish at a tri-match hosted by Westfield State on Sunday afternoon. The Anchorwomen shot a score of 412. Westfield State took home first place (406), while Johnson & Wales was second (410). Westfield State sophomore Bailey Loughlin (Maynard, MA) took home medalist honors with an 84.

Freshman Nicole Langella (Pembroke, MA) led the way for RIC and finished in fourth place (89), while fellow rookie Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) finishing in fifth place (97). Freshman Kelsey Hiler (Pascoag, RI) took seventh place (104), while sophomore Mia Pavao (Tyngsboro, MA) carded a 122, which was good for 11th place.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will travel to Johnson & Wales on Thursday, April 27.
