Rhode Island College Womenís Lacrosse Update #3

(2-4 Overall; 0-1 in the Little East Conference)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Ryan Angelís team is 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the Little East Conference. RIC downed Elms, 14-4, on Apr. 10 before falling to Keene State, 19-2, on Apr. 12.

 

Sophomore center Amanda Hutchins (Gilmanton, NH) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has 14 goals and one assist for 15 points, 20 ground balls, three pass interceptions and 15 draw controls.

 

Freshman attackman Danielle Egan (North Falmouth, MA) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has ten goals for ten points, 12 ground balls and 11 draw controls.

 

Sophomore attackman Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has six goals and one assist for seven points, 10 ground balls and ten draw controls.

 

Freshman attack wing Ashley Cardin (Cumberland, RI) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has four goals for four points, 15 ground balls, and two draw controls.

 

Freshman attack wing Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has one goal and two assists for three points, nine ground balls and three draw controls. Colagiovanni has played three games in goal, starting two of them. She has 20 saves, a 9.50 goals-against average and a .513 save percentage.

 

Sophomore attackman Liz Valeika (Woonsocket, RI) has played in three games, starting all of them. She has one goal and one assist for two points, and one ground ball.

 

Freshman defensive wing Cara Fusco (Foster, RI) has played in four games, starting two of them. She has two assists for two points.

 

Sophomore defensive wing Erin Grant (Coventry, RI) has played in six games, starting all of them. She one assist for one point, 19 ground balls and eight draw controls.

 

Junior center Kim Wells (Granby, CT) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has two ground balls and four draw controls.

 

Freshman defenseman Meghan Lehman (Sunderland, MA) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has 12 ground balls.

 

Junior goalkeeper Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, RI) has played in five games, starting all of them. She has 56 saves, a save percentage of .440, and a goals-against average of 14.00.

 

Freshman attack wing Jessica Maher (Warwick, RI) has played in six games, starting all of them. She has two goals and two assists for four points and ten ground balls.

 

Freshman defensive wing Stephanie Sullivan (Westerly, RI) has played in five games, starting four of them. She has one ground ball.

 

In upcoming action, RIC will play at Castleton State on Apr. 15, at Southern Maine on Apr. 17 and at Plymouth State on Apr. 19.
