Rhode Island College Womenís Lacrosse Update #5

(3-9 Overall; 0-5 in the Little East Conference)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Ryan Angelís team is 3-9 overall and 0-5 in the Little East Conference. In action last week, the Anchorwomen fell to Nichols, 12-10, on Apr. 22, to Eastern Connecticut, 22-4, on Apr. 24 and to Western Connecticut, 16-2, on Apr. 26.

 

Sophomore center Amanda Hutchins (Gilmanton, NH) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has 24 goals and three assists for 27 points, 31 ground balls, six pass interceptions and 28 draw controls.

 

Sophomore attackman Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has 13 goals and five assists for 18 points, 23 ground balls, one pass interception and 17 draw controls.

 

Freshman attackman Danielle Egan (North Falmouth, MA) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has 17 goals for 17 points, 24 ground balls and 20 draw controls.

 

Freshman attack wing Ashley Cardin (Cumberland, RI) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has six goals for six points, 27 ground balls, and four draw controls.

 

Freshman attack wing/goalkeeper Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has three goals and two assists for five points, 23 ground balls, and four draw controls. Between the pipes, she has played in eight games, starting seven of them. She has 81 saves, a save percentage of .526 and a 11.53 goals against average.

 

Sophomore attackman Liz Valeika (Woonsocket, RI) has played in nine games, starting six of them. She has one goal and one assist for two points, four ground balls and one draw control.

 

Freshman defensive wing Cara Fusco (Foster, RI) has played in eight games, starting five of them. She has one goal and two assists for three points, and three ground balls.

 

Sophomore defensive wing Erin Grant (Coventry, RI) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has five goals and one assist for six points, 35 ground balls, five pass interceptions and 13 draw controls.

 

Junior center Kim Wells (Granby, CT) has played in 11 games, starting ten of them. She has two goals for two points, seven ground balls, and four draw controls.

 

Freshman defenseman Meghan Lehman (Sunderland, MA) has played in 11 games, starting all of them. She has 21 ground balls and a pass interception.

 

Junior defenseman/goalkeeper Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, RI) has played in nine games, starting eight of them. She has ten ground balls and two draw controls. In goal, she has 54 saves, a save percentage of .469, and a GAA of 12.93.

 

Freshman attack wing Jessica Maher (Warwick, RI) has played in 12 games, starting all of them. She has three goals and three assists for six points, 18 ground balls, and three draw controls.

 

Freshman defensive wing Stephanie Sullivan (Westerly, RI) has played in 11 games, starting ten of them. She has three ground balls and one draw control on the season.

 

Sophomore defenseman Erika Babat (North Kingstown, RI) has played in eight games, starting all of them. She has 26 ground balls, two pass interceptions and 16 draw controls

 

In upcoming action, RIC will host UMass-Dartmouth this afternoon at 4 p.m.
