Misha Knuettel Named
Little East Conference
Menís Runner of the Week


Providence, RIóRhode Island College junior Misha Knuettel (Warwick, RI) was named the Little East Conference Menís Runner of the Week for his performance in cross country last week.


Knuettel finished ninth in the James Early Invitational with a time of 25:54, establishing a personal season best and equaling the fifth best time in Rhode Island College history. Knuettel has finished first this season at the Tri-State Invitational and the Roger Williams Invitational


Knuettel is a 1999 graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School. He is a transfer from Manhattan College.


Head Coach Kevin Jacksonís team placed 15th (27teams) with a team score of 386.0 at the James Early Invitational, hosted by Westfield State, on Oct. 19. Tufts University won the meet with a score of 72.0.


In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Little East Conference/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by Keene State College, on Nov. 2.
