McCalligett Competes
at ECAC Div. III Championships

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College sophomore Kate McCalligett (Warwick, RI) was the Anchorwomen’s lone competitor at the ECAC Div. III Championships, hosted by Tufts University on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 7-8.

McCalligett placed 21st in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.69. McCalligett was slated to compete in the 4 x 200 meter relay along with freshman Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI), sophomore Courtney Gardiner (Warwick, RI) and freshman Temitayo Adenodi (Woonsocket, RI), but Skorupa was unable to compete due to severe shin splints.

Since McCalligett was Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s only runner, the Anchorwomen did not score as a team.
