  • CHANDLER LYNN HONORED AT 2018 ESPYS

    Rhode Island College junior gymnast Chandler Lynn (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.), along with hundreds of survivors of Larry Nassar's sexual abuse, were given the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2018 ESPYS on Wednesday evening at the Microsoft Theater.

    Rhode Island College junior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA)earned All-Region honors with a fifth place finish (37.000) in the all-around to lead Anchorwomen to a sixth place finish at the 2018 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Region Championship held at the Murray Center on Saturday.

    Rhode Island College recorded its highest team score of the season and junior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) broke the program record on beam as the Anchorwomen fell, 187.300-181.150, at Ursinus in National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) action on Saturday afternoon.

    Rhode Island College junior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) notched a first place finish in the all-around (34.800), while freshman Kaela Skerl (Albuquerque, NM) took second in the all-around (34.100), as the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team notched a third place finish at the Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational hosted by Ithaca College on Sunday.
  • WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS REGISTERS SEASON-BEST TEAM SCORE AT SUNY CORTLAND

    Junior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) finished first in the all-around (36.775), while freshman Kaela Skerl (Albuquerque, NM) took second place in the all-around (34.050), as the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team dropped a 185.850-179.300 decision at Cortland on Sunday afternoon. The team score of 179.300 is the highest score this season for the Anchorwomen.
