Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Worcester State Spring Invitational

Sutton, Mass.--Rhode Island College junior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) carded an 85, which was good for a 19th place finish, to lead the Rhode Island College men's golf team to a sixth place (six teams) finish with a 353 team score at the Worcester State Spring Invitational played at the Blackstone National Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.

THE BASICS
• The Anchormen shot a  353, which was good for a sixth place (six teams), while Babson took home the team title with a 308.
• The Par-72 Blackstone National CC measures 6,655 yards 

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior Mike Caparco (Johnston, RI) finished in 22nd place with an 87.

• Senior Victor Dumont (Riverside, RI) notched a tie for 23rd place with a 90.

• Senior Valmore Dumont (Riverside, RI) took 25th place with a 91, while junior Matthew Butler (Johnston, RI) rounded out the Anchormen golfers, placing 29th with a 93.

WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will travel to the Hampton Inn Invitational, hosted by UMass Dartmouth at Allendale Country Club on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20.
