  • Megan Mahan Earns All-New England Honors As Women’s Golf Takes Second At NEIGA Championship

    Brewster, Mass.--Sophomore Megan Megan (North Andover, MA) earned All-New England honors after taking second place with a 177 (91, 86) to lead the Rhode Island College women’s golf team to a second place finish (three teams) with a score of 794 (403, 391) at the Third Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Division III Championship at the Captain’s Course on Sunday and Monday.

    Warwick, RI.--Junior Jean Marie Arnold (Wakefield, RI) carded a career-best score of 97 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s golf team to a 395-505 victory over Worcester State in a dual-match played at Valley Country Club on Sunday afternoon.

    Ballston Spa, N.Y.--Sophomore Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) finished in a tie for 11th place with a 179 (82, 97) to lead the Rhode Island College women’s golf team to an eighth place finish with a team score of 825 (408, 417) at the Empire Eight Championship played at the Ballston Spa Country Club over the weekend.

    Warwick, R.I. -- Sophomore Megan Mahan (North Andover, MA) and freshman Natalie Jepson (Shoreham, NY) each picked up victories, but it wouldn’t be enough as the Rhode Island College women’s golf team fell to Westfield State, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon. The match was played in a Ryder Cup style format and was held at Valley Country Club.

    Sophomore Megan Mahan (North Providence, RI) carded a (183=95-88) for a tie for 58th place to lead the Rhode Island College women's golf team to a 17th place finish (17 teams) with a two day total of (863=435-428) the Mount Holyoke Invitational played at The Orchards Golf Club over the weekend.
