Dartmouth, Mass.--Senior attacker Alasondra Apici (Providence, RI) scored the lone goal as the Rhode Island women's lacrosse team suffered a 15-1 setback at UMass Dartmouth in a Little East Conference contest on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UMass Dartmouth controlled the action in the first half, outscoring RIC by an 11-0 margin, which included three goals each from senior midfielder Leah Douty (Framingham, MA) and senior midfielder Erin Kish (Littleton, MA).

• The host Corsairs built on their lead throughout the second half, racing out to a 15-0 advantage before Apici's goal with 3:29 left made the score 15-1.
