Roxbury, Mass.—Junior Chelsea Yang (Warwick, RI) won the weight throw (19.42m) as the Rhode Island College women's track & field team finished 17th (24 teams) at the 2020 NEICAAA Championship, held at the Reggie Lewis Center on Friday and Saturday.
THE BASICS
• The Anchorwomen posted a team score of 10.0. The University of Connecticut won the title with a team score of 126.33.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Graduate Oluwafunmibi Yusuff (Providence, RI) placed 14th in the weight throw (15.53m).
• Sophomore Georgerinna Farley (Providence, RI) finished 18th in the weight throw (14.92m).
• Sophomore Trinity Hayes (Providence, RI) finished 17th in the 400m (59.40) and 27th in the 200m (26.43).
• Junior Bryana Mullin (Warwick, RI) finished 20th in the 800m (2:19.43).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Coast Guard Invitational on Friday, Feb. 7.
