HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC ripped off seven runs in the top of the first inning. A Fluskey two-run double and numerous miscues by Clarks Summit keyed the offensive explosion.

• Freshman catcher Alexis Boyce (Wolcott, CT) doubled in a run as part of a two-run second frame. Freshman second baseman Ashley Armstrong (Warwick, RI) had an RBI double as part of a two-run fourth, which helped end the game early.
