Gorham, Maine--Sophomore Jenna Lisi (Cranston, R.I.) and senior Victoria Vittori (New Bedford, Mass.) won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles as the Rhode Island College women's tennis team defeated Southern Maine, 9-0, in Little East action played at Gorham High on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen have won all four of their matches with 9-0 shutouts on the season.
 
• Seniors Serena Bobola (Cranston, R.I.) and Hailey Raskob (North Smithfield, R.I.) earned a walkover victory at No. 3 doubles.
 
• Lisi and Vittori won (8-1) at No. 1 doubles over USM junior Ciara Richards (Caribou, ME) and sophomore Riley Curtis (Brewer, ME).
 
• The Anchorwomen freshman duo of Lauren Macera (Cranston, R.I.) and Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) defeated USM sophomore Audrey Richdale (Belfast, ME) and sophomore Rachel Grome (Franklin, Mass.) (8-0). at No. 2 doubles.
 
• Macera and Sommer earned walkover victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.
 
• Lisi defeated Richards (8-0) at No. 1 singles.
 
• Raskob defeated Curtis (8-1) at No. 2 singles.
 
• Vittori defeated Richdale (8-0) at No. 3 singles.
 
• Bobola defeated Grome (8-0) at No. 4 singles.
