Providence, R.I.--Sophomore Jenna Lisi (Cranston, R.I.) clinched the win with a straight set (6-0, 6-1) victory at No. 1 singles as Rhode Island College downed Plymouth State, 9-0, in Little East women's tennis action on Friday afternoon at the RIC Tennis Center.

• Lisi and senior Victoria Vittori (New Bedford, Mass.) earned the win (8-2) vs. senior Maggie McCarthy (Marion, Mass.) and sophomore Kira Winter (Eliot, Maine) at No. 1 doubles to open the day's action.
 
• RIC seniors Grace Zangari (Saunderstown, R.I.) and Hailey Raskob (North Smithfield, R.I.) secured a win (8-0) vs. seniors Kerstin Venincasa (Sutton, Mass.) and Jenna Sundquist (Monument Beach, Mass.) at No. 2 doubles.
 
• RIC freshman Lauren Macera (Cranston, R.I.) and senior Serena Bobola (Cranston, R.I.)  capped the sweep (8-2) vs. PSU junior Julie Miller (Woburn, Mass.) and freshman Camilla Puzio (Holden, Mass.) at No. 3 doubles as the hosts entered singles play with a 3-0 advantage.
 
• Macera downed Sundquist  (6-0, 6-1) at No. 4 singles.
 
• Lisi clinched the match with a win (6-0, 6-1) over McCarthy at No. 1 singles
 
• Vittori won (6-0, 6-1) over Miller at No. 5 singles
 
• Zangari bested Winter (6-3, 6-1) at No. 2 singles.
 
• Bobola downed junior Brie Hada (Alton, N.H.) (6-3, 6-0) at No. 6 singles.
 
 
• Raskob closed out the match with a win (7-6, 10-2) over  Venincasa at No. 3 singles.
