Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) continued her dominance in the Rhode Island College women's basketball team's, 73-59, win over UMass Dartmouth Corsairs in Little East action played at The Murray Center on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Nardolillo hit a three-pointer with 25 seconds remaining in the first quarter to give the Anchorwomen a 19-11 advantage going into the first break. RIC would lead by as much as 15 in the second quarter and went into halftime with a comfortable, 36-21, lead.
 
• The game would get interesting in the fourth quarter when the Corsairs took off on an 18-2 scoring run to open up the frame and pulled within six, 61-55, with just 4:14 remaining. UMass senior guard 
Jordan Moretti (Johnston, R.I.) had five points over that stretch.
 
• RIC would hold UMD to just four points the rest of the way to secure its 18
th straight conference win dating back to last season.
 
• Nardolillo had a game-high 20 points and 12 rebounds, which was good for her third double-double effort of the year.
 
• Sophomore guard 
Ashanti Frazier (Newington, Conn.) finished the game with 10 points and three rebounds.
 
• Moretti finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Corsairs.
 
 
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 44 percent (29-for-66) from the field, 28 percent (5-for-18) from downtown and 71 percent (10-for-14) from the free throw line.
 
• The Corsairs shot 35 percent (19-for-54) from the field, 29 percent (6-for-21) from long range and 65 percent (16-for-23) from the charity stripe
 
• RIC has won eight consecutive games and 11 of their last 12.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will continue Little East action at Castleton on Saturday, Jan. 22 (3:00 p.m.).
