Providence, R.I.—Freshman 285 lbs. Michael Alfonso (Garfield, N.J.) went 3-2 with a pair of pins to lead Rhode Island College at the Wildcat Open, hosted by Johnson and Wales on Saturday afternoon.

• Head Coach Jay Jones sent mostly reserves to the competition in preparation for tomorrow's NEWA Dual Championship.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Junior 157 lbs. Michael Burns (North Attleboro, Mass.) went 1-2 with a major decision.
 
• Freshman 133 lbs. Jacob Duval (New Bedford, Mass.), freshman 165 lbs. Reilly Sullivan (South Windsor, Conn.), sophomore 165 lbs. Daniel Brown (Pascoag, R.I.) and freshman 174 lbs. Jaden Grigsby (Providence, R.I.) also participated at the meet.
