Plymouth, Mass.--Junior midfielder Joseph Scolaro (Bristol, R.I.) netted his first goal of the season as the Rhode Island College men's soccer team tied at Plymouth State, 2-2, in Little East action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Plymouth State jumped ahead right out of the gate when junior forward Fasail Abdallah (Concord, N.H.) scored in the fourth minute.
 
• RIC would wait until the 43^rd minute to respond when Scolaro took a pass from senior forward Jonathan Oliveira (Providence, R.I.) for his first marker of the year.
 
• In the second half, RIC was able to take the lead, 2-1. In the 68^th minute, sophomore forward Anthony Recinos (Providence, R.I.) scored unassisted for his third strike of the season.
 
• With less than five minutes remaining, PSU drew a foul in the box and were awarded a penalty kick. Sophomore midfielder Sondre Asheim (Klepp, Norway) booted it in in the 87^th minute.
 
• Sophomore goalkeeper Wesley Perrotto (Pembroke, Mass.) made two saves (2-2-2).
 
• PSU junior goalkeeper Nicolas Cornejo (Durham, N.H.) stopped four in the deadlock (4-3-2).
