Natalie Reid (North Attleboro, Mass.) served up a career-high 45 assists as the Rhode Island College women's volleyball team came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Westfield State, 3-2, in the club's second match of the day at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

• The Anchorwomen played flat in the first set and fell to the Owls by seven, 25-18.

• From the second set on, both teams were locked in a back-and-forth affair. Westfield State squeaked out a two-point, 25-23, set two victory to go up by a pair, 2-0.

• RIC earned its first win after a battle with the Owls in set three, winning by two, 26-24.

• The momentum rolled with RIC in the fourth set as the hosts took down WSU by five, 25-20.

Angelly Polanco uncorked a vicious swing to stick in the corner to win the match.

• Murphy notched 26 kills, a career-high, and registered 12 digs. She now sits at 1,041 kills for her career, which ranks her fifth all-time in program history.
