HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC swept all three doubles matches as Cadden and classmate
Josh Brien (Johnston, R.I.) combined for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) put the hosts up, 4-0, with a straight set (6-4, 6-2) victory at No. 4 singles before Cadden closed out the match.

Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) each posted 2-0 marks on the day.

• The Anchormen and Leopards split, 3-3, the six singles contests.

• It was the first match in 2022 for the Anchormen, who bested Albertus Magnus, 5-4, in their lone match of the fall semester on Oct. 3.
