Cal Parrillo (Greenville, R.I.) went 4-for-6 with a home run and three RBI as the Rhode Island College baseball team defeated Marian (Wisc.), 11-7, at the RussMatt Invitational (Lake Myrtle Field #2) on Tuesday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC started the day by scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. Parrillo singled in a run and senior third baseman
Jarrad Grossguth (Coventry, R.I.) smacked a solo homer in the frame. Sophomore second baseman
Justin Wardwell (Westport, Mass.) capped the inning off with a two-run single.

• Parrillo homered in the third inning to extend RIC's lead to 7-0.

• With The Anchormen up 11-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh, Marian plated six runs, highlighted by a two-run single by sophomore infielder
