HOW IT HAPPENED
• Kulacz scored the first three goals of the game and senior midfielder
Olivia Carpenito (Wilmington, Mass.) netted one of her own as the hosts built a 4-0 advantage over the Corsairs after 30 minutes.

• UMD didn't stay quiet for long, scoring eight unanswered goals in the third quarter, with a bevy of the coming from sophomore attacker
Mellany Sanchez-Alvarez (Stamford, Conn.), as the visitors led by three, 8-5, with one stanza remaining.

• Kross would notch all of her goals in the second half, but RIC would get no closer four goals over the final five minutes of the final quarter.

• Kulacz and Kross each registered hat tricks, with Kulacz scooping up six ground balls and causing one turnover.

• Sanchez-Alvarez notched seven goals and two assists for nine points. She also posted a game-high 10 draw controls to go along with four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
