Maddie Kross (Peachtree City, Ga.) finished with two goals, five draw controls and a pair of ground balls as Rhode Island College fell, 21-4, vs. Southern Maine in Little East women's lacrosse action played at Alumni Field on Wednesday afternoon.

• USM graduate midfielder
Jennifer Darasz (Gorham, Maine) and senior attacker
Rachel Shanks (Naples, Maine) each scored twice as the visitors led, 4-1, with 5:50 left in the first quarter.
• RIC senior midfielder
Olivia Carpenito (Wilmington, Mass.) scored at 5:30, but the Huskies scored the next six goals to jump out to a 10-2 advantage.

Cece Racine (Lewiston, Maine) played three quarters, made six saves and secured her 10

Lydia Laslavic (Thomaston, Maine) played the fourth quarter and made four stops.
