HEAD COACH JAY JONES ON THE TEAM'S PERFORMANCE
• "
After a tough start to the day in Pennsylvania where inexperience hurt significantly, we rallied the team, ignited some fire and came back to win the last two matches including a tough D2 Shippensburg team. We let the guys know they had to stay off their backs and be the aggressors and get some energy and life back. I am so glad that they turned it around."
• "
In order to get them focused mentally, we gave them three keys to improvement: minimize big mistakes that could result in pins against us, improve listening skills and pick up the tempo to make good things happen in the matches. It worked pretty well. I wish we could have the first match of the day back, but on to next week in New York."
WHAT'S NEXT
