Keene, N.H.--Freshman forward
Cody Granville (Wakefield, R.I.) scored two goals to increase his season total to six as the Rhode Island College men's soccer team defeated Keene State, 3-0, in Little East action played at Dr. Ron Butcher Field on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After trading shots, the Anchormen opened the scoring in the 40
th minute when sophomore defender
Lucas Duquette (Wakefield, R.I.) ripped a shot into the upper left portion of the net. The assist was credited to freshman defender
Alijah Nunes (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago).

• Shortly after the second half started, Granville scored his first goal of the match in the 50
th minute to double the RIC lead.

• Granville would score again in the 63
rd minute off a pass from freshman defender
Jackson Fox (Portsmouth, R.I.) to give the visitors a commanding advantage.

• Junior goalkeeper
Jake Reed (Cumberland, R.I.) recorded seven saves for his fourth shutout of the season (6-1-3).

Regan Racicot (Pittsburgh, PA) did not make a save in the loss (7-4-2).
