HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC jumped out to an early, 4-2, lead thanks to a pair of goals by freshman attacker

• The Anchorwomen added five more goals in the second quarter to head into halftime with a four-goal, 9-5, advantage.

• The hosts had their best quarter of the season in the third frame, scoring seven times, while only allowing Mitchell to score once. The defense was even better in the fourth, keeping the visitors off the scoreboard, as RIC picked up a win for the first time in 2023.
