Andrew Fanning (Greenville, R.I.) won in three sets to clinch a 5-4 win for Rhode Island College vs. Bridgewater State in Little East men's tennis action played at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts opened doubles play by winning two of the three contests. Sophomore
Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) and
Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) combined for an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
• Gouin won in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) at No. 4 singles, and after a Bear win at the fifth spot, Morin won in three sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-1) to set up RIC for the match win.
• Fanning clinched the win with a victory (6-2, 2-6, 7-6) at No. 6 singles.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Suffolk on Thursday, April 13 (3:30 p.m.).
