Rindge, N.H.—Junior designated hitter
Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and four RBI as Rhode Island College salvaged a split with a 14-3 win over Keene State in game two of a Little East doubleheader played at Franklin Pierce's Pappas Field on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC, which was kept off the board in a game one, 2-0, loss, went down by a pair in the third inning.
• The Anchormen erupted for eight runs in the top of the seventh, led by a two-run double by Podedworny and a three-run homer from junior third baseman
Cal Parrillo (Greenville, R.I.), to build an 8-2 lead.
• The visitors put three across in both the eighth and the ninth, highlighted by a Podedworny two-run blast, to put the game away.

Terry Murray (Norfolk, Mass.) hurled eight innings and struck out eight en route to his third win (3-1) on the year.
