Providence, R.I.—Over 700 former student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, families and friends gathered in the Roberts Hall Auditorium to Celebrate 100 Year of Athletics at Rhode Island College.
 
Master of Ceremonies Dante Bellini '80 opened the speaking portion and was followed by Rhode Island College President Jack Warner and Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee. RIC Director of Athletics Don Tencher closed the ceremony.
 
RIC recognized over 170 former student-athletes for their excellence and also handed out nearly 30 Centennial Awards of Excellence.
