HEAD COACH JAY JONES ON THE TEAM'S PERFORMANCE
• "The Pete Willson Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College (Ill.) just outside of Chicago, provided a great experience for our student-athletes. We faced some of the nation's best competition in an individual-bracketed tournament, which is great preparation for our upcoming NCAA Northeast Regional."

• "I am so excited for our placers, who were battle-tested this weekend. We also got wins out of Edison Guarcas who made it the blood-round and Christopher McCarthy, Anthony Fernandez and Michael Pestana and we saw some improvement in their development."

WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Roger Williams in a New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) dual on Friday, Feb. 2 (7 p.m.).
