• Before scoring the contest's only marker, Kamara had a chance in the 24
th minute, which was saved as the hosts found some momentum.

• Kamara would then capitalize in the 38
th minute off a through-ball pass from freshman midfielder
Michael Strain (West Warwick, R.I.). It was Strain's first collegiate assist.

• RIC Senior goalkeeper
Wesley Perrotto (Pembroke, Mass.) recorded the win (8-3-1) and his fourth clean sheet of the season with a two-save effort.

• RIC's defense was outstanding, allowing only seven shots for the entire game, of which only two were on net.
