Emilia Houwers (Whitewater, Wisc.) collected her fourth singles win of the season with a straight set shutout as Rhode Island College capped the regular season with a 9-0 win at Western Connecticut on Tuesday afternoon at the Westside Tennis Courts.

• Houwers won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) at No. 6 singles to push her individual record to 4-1 on the season.
• Houwers paired with classmate
Haylie Peacock (West Gardiner, Maine) at No. 1 doubles as the duo won, 8-6, and moved their combined mark to 13-1 on the season.
• Peacock also won at No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-0) to stay undefeated (15-0) in singles action.

Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) continue to be a dominant force as doubles teammates with an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
