RIC Falls at Brandeis, 93-86

Waltham, Mass.--Senior guard Dwayne Robinson-O'Hagan (Woonsocket, R.I.) led three Anchormen in double figures with a team-high 18 points as Rhode Island College fell vs. Brandeis, 93-86, at Red Auerbach Arena on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A three by senior guard Deyshawn Tengbeh (East Providence, R.I.) had RIC trailing by four midway through the first half. 
 
• The Judges shot 61 percent from both the field and from three-point range in the opening frame and went on a 14-4 run to build a 15-point, 48-33, at halftime.
 
• After trailing by as many as 16, the Anchormen reduced their deficit down to 10, 76-67, as sophomore forward Xavier Mendez (Pawtucket, R.I.) converted a one-and-one from the line.
 
• RIC would then cut the host's lead down to five as junior guard Isaiah Dahl (Cornelius, Ore.) knocked down three free throws after being fouled to make it, 91-86, with 15 seconds left.
 
• The Judges converted crucial free throws to hold for the win and stay unbeaten on the season.
 
• Dahl had 17 points and shot 47 percent from downtown.
 
• Fifth-year forward Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) recorded his third consecutive double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while dishing out five assists, in the loss.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Amherst on Thursday, Nov. 21 (7:30 p.m.).
