Fort Myers, Fla.—Six Anchormen knocked in two or more runs as Rhode Island College ended its trip to Florida with a 17-3 win over Skidmore to complete a doubleheader sweep at Terry Park Stadium in Gene Cusic Classic action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• With RIC trailing, 3-2, in the bottom of the third, the Anchormen loaded the bases and consecutive walks issued to senior catcher
David Iannicculli (Johnston, R.I.), senior left fielder
Justin Wardwell (Westport, Mass.) and sophomore center fielder
Jeren Pimentel (Boston, Mass.) put the hosts on top for good.
• The Anchormen buried Skidmore with a nine-run fifth inning. Wardwell, junior first baseman
Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) and Iannicculli knocked in two apiece with run-scoring singles.
• Sophomore reliever
Devyn Glenn (West Warwick, R.I.) earned the win (1-0), allowing just one unearned run on four hits to go along with three strikeouts, in four innings of work.
• Trzepacz went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, three RBI and a homer.
• Senior designated hitter
Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBI and a home run.
