HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC led by four, 19-15, with ten minutes left in the first half after sophomore guard
Jalen Claude (New Haven, Conn.) knocked down a jumper.
• The Anchormen retained their lead, 36-34, as the first 20 minutes expired.
• A 12-6 run by the hosts within the final six minutes of the game put MIT ahead, 67-63.
• Freshman guard
Noe Bom (Hamburg, Germany) knocked down a three with 50 seconds remaining to bring the visitors' deficit back to three, 74-71.
• Fouls on RIC and made free throws by MIT would eventually seal the victory for the Engineers.
• Bom scored 15 points and corralled seven rebounds.
• Senior guard
Tyriek Weeks (Warwick, R.I.) dropped 17 points, pulled down six boards and blocked two shots in the loss.
