RIC Names Francine Adamo Coordinator of Student-Athlete Support

Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College has named Francine Adamo as its coordinator of student-athlete support. Adamo will begin working with current coordinator Tony Rainone during the spring 2026 semester and fully assume her responsibilities to begin the 2026-27 academic year. responsibilities

"I am really excited to join the Rhode Island College family and to continue the great work that has been done by the Ann Cullen Success Center staff," Adamo said.

Adamo recently retired after a 31-year career as the director of technology at the Father John V. Doyle School. Over the course of her career, she taught technology classes, managed the school's network and oversaw the media and library center for students in grades K-8th grade.

She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bryant in 1988. Adamo completed an associate's degree in business from Community College of Rhode Island in 1986. During her career as a Knight, Adamo was a pitcher on the CCRI softball team.
