Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) brought in fifth-year left fielder
Justin Wardwell (Westport, Mass.) with the game's first run on a sacrifice fly in the first inning.
• The Hawks answered in the second stanza with a two-run blast over the left field fence to take the lead, 2-1.
• The visitors would score a single run in the third frame to increase their lead to two, 3-1, but it was the Anchormen who fought back with a four-run bottom of the third thanks to a pair of RBI from Parillo and an RBI walk by fifth-year shortstop

• An RBI groundout from the Anchormen would put them ahead, 6-3, in the fifth. However, a three-run Hawk homer in the seventh knotted the contest at six apiece.
• After three more scoreless innings from each side, the game would be decided in the top of the 11
th as the Hawks plated four to close the door.
